| The Peruvian Statistics Game |
|
In the exhibit, "The Peruvians," you saw many photos illustrating Peru's daily life and its rich, colorful culture. Also shown, however, were images depicting another side of Peruvian life: modern Peru's social and economic problems. As you answer questions about this exhibit, your correct answers will enable you to compare statistics from two very different countries: The United States, one of the world's wealthiest nations, and Peru, one of the poorest. As you answer questions correctly, you will be given an opportunity to view different images of modern Peruvian life. |

There are six questions in the game. If you answer a question correctly on the first attempt, you score one point. No points are given for questions answered correctly after the first attempt. Try for a perfect score! After every correct answer, a statistic comparing the United States and Peru is revealed. You will also have the chance to view an image of modern life in Peru. The statistics may use words that are not familiar to you. Here are some useful definitions. Mortality - death |
