Bill Wright of Abilene, TX, and Santa Fe, NM, has traveled round the world with his cameras, taking pictures of people whose lives intersect with his own. He is fascinated by other people and their cultures, and his goal is to convey the vitality and resilience of their lives to people who view his pictures. A book of photographs from his travels has been published by the University of Texas Press. In conjunction with the publication, this traveling exhibition of photographs has been organized so that viewers everywhere may share the experience of meeting other people and understanding other cultures of our world.
