INFLUENCES FROM AFRICA

In the following works, the artists reflect specific influences from Africa: Islamic tile decorations set in architectural structures from North Africa (Symbol of Earth Soul II); the center of ritual and renewal for Ibo villages of Nigeria (Mbari Installation); the bustle and flurry of movement which envelops the heart of the African marketplace (Filās for Sale).
