The Temple of Apollo

Apollo was the patron deity of Pompeii until he was replaced by Venus, the Mistress of Nature, the Universe, and the Goddess of Love. Apparently worship took place before an altar outside the Temple. This study print, published by the Encyclopedia Britannica, suggests what the Temple of Apollo may have looked like before the destruction of Pompeii.
